Notary Public Thailand — Thai Notary Law & Service
Bring the recipient’s instructions before arranging a signature, certified copy or translation. Our Bangkok-based notarial team assesses identity, signatory authority and the requested certificate. Further MFA or embassy steps depend on the document and recipient; certification does not guarantee acceptance.
Every service is delivered under the supervision of our attorneys
We are a law office, not a document courier. Each matter receives a legal review before work starts, and an attorney remains professionally accountable for the result.
1. Intake and fact-finding
We establish the purpose, destination country, and receiving authority so the correct form of certification is chosen from the outset.
2. Attorney reviews legal scope
We confirm the matter falls within the authority of a Notarial Services Attorney. If it does not, we tell you the correct route instead.
3. Certified and signed by an attorney
Signatory identity, document completeness, and wording are checked before the attorney signs and seals in the form prescribed by the Lawyers Council.
4. Delivery with next-step guidance
We explain any onward steps — Ministry of Foreign Affairs or embassy legalisation — and the common reasons documents get rejected.
Advice first: if a matter falls outside notarial authority, we point you to the correct procedure rather than take the work.

What a Thai document passes through to be used abroad
These steps may be relevant; not every document needs all three. Confirm the route with the recipient before starting.
1 · Notarisation by an attorney
Signature witnessing, certified true copies, affidavits, or powers of attorney, signed by a Notarial Services Attorney.
2 · Department of Consular Affairs, MFA
Legalisation of the document and its translation under Consular Affairs rules, before the destination embassy step.
3 · Destination embassy or consulate
The final step under each country's own requirements, which differ in forms and accepted languages.
The Apostille Convention is scheduled to enter into force for Thailand on 28 February 2027. Before then, check recipient requirements for MFA or embassy legalization. After that date, document scope and treaty operation between the relevant states still need checking.
