Overseas banks, counterparties and registries usually want evidence that a Thai company exists and that its signatory has authority. The core record is the company certificate issued by the Department of Business Development (DBD), which lists directors and signing conditions. The notarial attorney certifies copies or signatures within the certificate's scope only—not the company's finances or every resolution term.

Commonly requested records are the company certificate, shareholder list (Bor.Or.J.5), memorandum, articles and board or shareholder resolutions. Many recipients set a maximum age for the certificate, so obtain a fresh DBD copy after receiving the recipient's list rather than reusing an old one.
Check the authorized-director clause in the certificate—for example, joint signature by two directors or use of the company seal. If an authorized director is abroad, plan an overseas signing, which usually needs a local notary there plus the legalization route the recipient accepts.

Translate where Thai is not accepted. 5. Sign before the attorney for certification. 6. Submit to the MFA Department of Consular Affairs and embassy if required.
