Virtual office, company registration & VAT
Khon Kaen virtual office: a registered address for company and VAT registration in Isan
We hold our own premises in Khon Kaen and provide a registered address for businesses operating in the Northeast that want to incorporate or register for VAT locally. Registering in the province where the business actually operates keeps the address consistent with the activity, which reduces the questions officers raise at inspection and makes dealings with the provincial DBD office and the area revenue office straightforward. The service covers the consent letter, premises evidence, signage, official-mail handling and attendance at inspections. Other Isan provinces are served from Khon Kaen or with partner offices; we do not claim our own branches where we hold no premises.
Work we accept
- A Khon Kaen registered address for a company, partnership or branch
- Consent letter with the title or lease evidence the registrar requests
- Company nameplate installed at the registered address
- Filing with the Khon Kaen provincial DBD office and through e-Registration
- Attendance at Khon Kaen area revenue office inspections
- Receipt of official mail and registered post in business hours, scanned and reported
- Coordination on local social-security and employer registration when staff are hired
What we do not do
- Claiming branches in other Isan provinces where we hold no premises
- Goods storage or warehouse use
- Agricultural or industrial businesses needing inspectable dedicated sites and specific licences
- Guaranteeing registrar or Revenue Department decisions
Documents to prepare
- ID card and house registration copies of directors and shareholders
- Company affidavit (if incorporated) or details of the company to be formed
- Reserved company name and the objectives actually to be pursued
- Local activity details: customers, suppliers or where work is actually performed
- Name, email and phone of the official-mail contact
- Power of attorney if we file on your behalf
How the work proceeds
1.Check the address matches real activity
We ask whether the activity really sits in Khon Kaen or nearby, because consistency between the registered address and real activity is what officers weigh. If operations are mainly in Bangkok, the Bangkok address answers their questions better.
2.Prepare premises documents and file
We issue the consent letter with title or lease evidence, map and photographs of the building and nameplate, then file with the Khon Kaen provincial DBD office or through e-Registration, whichever suits the documents and signatories.
3.Register for VAT and host the local inspection
We file PP.01 with the area revenue office covering the Khon Kaen address, make the unit, signage and trading evidence ready, and attend the inspection to explain the business as it actually is. Approval rests with the Revenue Department.
4.Set up documents and accounting after registration
After registration we set the tax-invoice format, a searchable document store and the monthly/annual filing calendar, and register the company in our official-mail system so no statutory deadline is missed.
5.Ongoing upkeep and change notifications
When the company grows into its own premises in Khon Kaen or elsewhere, we prepare the complete address-change filings for DBD, the Revenue Department and the Social Security Office so official mail never goes astray.
Statutory deadlines
- DBD name reservations expire; registration must be filed within the period
- Office relocation must be notified to the registrar within the Civil and Commercial Code period
- Place-of-business changes must be notified to the Revenue Department (PP.09) within its period
- Employer and insured-person registration within the Social Security Act period once staff are engaged
- Annual financial statements and shareholder lists filed on DBD's schedule
Before you decide
- Registering in Khon Kaen while all activity sits elsewhere invites questions about the true place of business
- Storing goods or delivering services from other premises may require registering an additional place of business under the Revenue Code
- Provincial filing follows each office's own practice; allow time for additional document requests
- Claiming offices in several provinces without real premises damages credibility and risks being treated as overstatement
Frequently asked questions
Is registering in Khon Kaen better than Bangkok?
There is no single answer. The principle is that the registered address should match where the business really operates. If customers, suppliers and work sit in Isan, Khon Kaen makes explanations to officers straightforward and local dealings easier. If the business mainly deals with central agencies, embassies or Bangkok counterparties, Bangkok fits better. We assess on the facts, not on price.
Is there a site inspection for VAT in Khon Kaen?
Yes, per the area office's practice: the officer checks the nameplate, a usable unit and someone who can answer. We attend and have the trading evidence ready. Approval is the Revenue Department's decision; we neither guarantee it nor state a fixed timeline.
Can businesses in nearby provinces such as Udon Thani or Maha Sarakham use this?
Yes, with the Khon Kaen address as the registered office, worked from Khon Kaen or with local partner offices. We do not present branches of our own where we hold no premises. If the business genuinely needs premises in that province, we say so and propose the correct structure.
How does official mail sent to Khon Kaen reach us?
Items arriving in business hours are logged, scanned and reported the same day, with deadline-bearing letters such as Revenue Department summonses flagged first. Originals are held for collection or forwarded to the address you nominate.
Is ongoing local accounting available?
Yes — monthly bookkeeping, tax filing and coordination with an independent licensed CPA. Keeping the address and the accounting in one place stops documents scattering and reduces the risk of late filing.
