What is Embassy Legalisation?
The final step where the destination country's embassy certifies the consular officer's signature.
In detail
The destination country's embassy or consulate in Thailand verifies the Department of Consular Affairs signature and seal and adds its own certification. Requirements, supporting documents and turnaround vary widely; some embassies accept appointments only, and some require the document owner or an authorised representative to lodge in person.
