Accounting, tax & payroll

Payroll, withholding tax and social-security filing

The office runs payroll, withholds tax, and files social-security and provident-fund contributions per law. We verify employment status, leave and contributions, without guaranteeing labour outcomes, which officials determine.

Work we accept

  • Calculate payroll and withholding tax PND.1
  • File social-security contributions via WPS
  • Administer provident fund and the National Savings Fund
  • Issue income certificates and payslips
  • Verify employment, working days, leave and wage rates under labour law
  • Prepare data for foreign employees and work-permit holders

What we do not do

  • Guaranteeing labour-case outcomes
  • Representing wage negotiations in place of employer or employee
  • Litigation-grade labour-law advice

Documents to prepare

  • Employment contract or terms of hire
  • Employee ID and national ID
  • Leave and absence records
  • Work permits for foreign employees
  • Social-security and provident-fund forms
  • Prior payroll register (if any)

How the work proceeds

  1. 1.Gather employment and wage data

We collect contracts, working days, leave and terms to compute payroll correctly.

  2. 2.Compute payroll and withholding

We compute income, withholding tax and social-security contributions per law.

  3. 3.File tax and social security

We file PND.1 and submit social-security via WPS within deadlines.

  4. 4.Issue payslips and certificates

We issue payslips and income certificates to employees and retain records.

  5. 5.Review and adjust

We review accuracy each month and adjust when employment or law changes.

Statutory deadlines

  • Withholding tax PND.1 is due by the 7th (or 15th) of the following month.
  • Social-security contributions are due by the 15th of the following month.
  • Provident-fund contributions follow the fund's regulations.

Before you decide

  • Foreign employees must hold a valid work permit; otherwise the employer breaches labour law.
  • Wrong contribution calculations can attract penalties.
  • We do not guarantee labour-case outcomes; officials decide.
  • Employee data is personal data and must be kept under the PDPA.

Frequently asked questions

Is social security filed monthly?

Yes. Employers submit contributions by the 15th of the following month via WPS.

Must foreign employees join social security?

It depends on employment status and law. We verify case by case.

Is PND.1 filed monthly?

Yes. Withholding tax PND.1 is filed monthly by the 7th (or 15th).

Does the office handle work permits?

We prepare payroll and employment evidence; the permit itself is a Department of Employment process. We can coordinate documents.

What happens when an employee resigns?

We compute final pay and statutory severance and file that month's tax and social security.

How long must payroll records be kept?

At least 5 years for tax; labour law may set more. We advise on retention.

Does the office give litigation labour-law advice?

No. We handle payroll and tax; for litigation we can refer you to the office's attorneys.

How are payroll fees quoted?

Monthly, in writing after headcount and complexity are known; no fixed price before seeing the work.

What engineering standards govern major infrastructure construction contract translations?

Certified translation

Quick summary for expats, HR teams and law firms to "What engineering standards govern major infrastructure construction contract translations?" — MFA Thailand only certifies the Thai–English pair, so a third-language original is either relayed through English or translated directly into Thai with a signed translator declaration attached to every page. Thailand deposited its instrument of accession to the Hague Apostille Convention on 30 June 2026, with entry into force on 28 February 2027, so outbound documents to member states need one Apostille from MFA instead of a destination-embassy step, except for states that objected to the accession.
